We tried the shrimp remoulade, The andouille sausage appetizer, the crawfish and crab etouffe, the jambalaya pasta, and the veal alfredo. (There were 4 of us) Did not care for the shrimp obviously made with frozen shrimp, the etouffe was Just okay, and the veal medallions left much to be desired. The andouille sausage was fabulous, and my husband enjoyed the pasta jambalaya. At first the restaurant wasn't crowded and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, when it started to get busy, they ran out of steak, and service became forgotten. Overall it was okay.
Worst experience. The staff was totally not prepared for the pre-concert crowd.
Great location near the Superdome. A little hard to find if you don't know what you're looking for. It is in the bottom of the Energy Center, and we passed it at first, then cut through the lobby from the opposite side of the building to get to it. I think they are normally only open for lunch, but were open for dinner for the U2 concert in the dome. Reasonably priced, mostly good food. The only dish we were disappointed in was the seafood pasta (recommended by our server). It was not well seasoned, especially for New Orleans. The crab cakes, chicken, fish and steak were all well prepared and tasty. Service was a little slow initially, but they seemed to be short handed. Once hostess arrived, service improved. Our food came out fairly quickly, but our server, who was very friendly, simply had too many tables to adequately attend to all of them. We placed our first drink orders and they were filled fairly quickly, but subsequent orders were very slow or not filled at all. Overall, it was a good experience and we would done there again.
Ate before saints game. buffet was good, but service was excellent. fun scene
Our waitress was great! she recommended the fried garnelen bbq po-boy and it was excellent! I love the ruined eggs.
