The staff were delightful and the food was excellent. The portions were quite large, and we couldn't finish our main courses. We both felt a bit guilty for leaving so much uneaten, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything we did manage to eat.

Lovely older style pub, delicious food and great friendly service. Heartedly recommend. Couldn't fault it.

I just stopped by for lunch and had a fantastic pint of Wainwright along with a huge BLT and skinny fries. The service was great, even though they were incredibly busy. Food and drinks: 5. Service: 5. Location: 5.

The main course offerings were impressive and reasonably priced. My wife and I opted for the Lamb Henry, and it did not disappoint! It was a magnificent cut of meat—absolutely fabulous, huge, and full of flavor. It certainly surpassed any lamb shank I've ever tasted. The others in our group chose scampi, a curry, and a burger, all of which were also delicious and served in large portions. Overall, it was an exceptional meal at a great price.
