Good Eats Restaurant Bar - New Milford

If you haven't been to GoodEats, it's a must try! The food is amazing, and the service is excellent! The crispy shrimp appetizer is to die for, and the fried buttermilk chicken with the salad on top is delicious. If you like an Old Fashioned, Brian makes the best. Like I said, if you have not stopped in. .You are missing out .

Hands down our favorite place to eat around Candlewood Lake. Food, drinks, and service always on point. Tikka meatballs, scallops, grilled chicken, fries this time, all delicious.

The biggest turnoff with our meal was after a drink spilled on the table and into a dish, the table was never cleaned up. We cleaned it with our own napkins, had to request replacement napkins, and the table was still never wiped down after they cleared the entrees and before they brought out a birthday dessert. There was a lack of awareness for what our table needed in terms of service.

Wow. Super-impressed. I felt like I was in NYC. I only gave it 4 stars for service because the staff weren't as quick as I'd like but I'm also a Type A New Yorker. I highly recommend. Food was delicious. When news gets out, this place will have a waiting list to get a table.
