Very flavorful dinners nicely presented. Slightly slow service nowadays

Overall things were pretty decent. Brysson was a little inattentive. Keeping an eye on empty water glasses should be easy. Same with asking if we wanted bread. Food was pretty good overall. a few minor issues: mashed potatoes were as bland as could be. I don't think they were made from scratch. Butter could certainly help the creaminess. Vichyssoise(potato/leek soup)had excellent flavor, but way too thick. I've enjoyed this soup since I was a kid. Please thin with a little milk might be a good option. Other than that food was overall quite good. The fact it was crowded showed people enjoy the place. It looks like it's been a popular spot for many years

Waited over an hour for food. Don’t visit when local theatre is in session. Waitress was very kind but food arrived late and by then we were starving and grumpy. Food was mediocre and very pricey. Poor value for money

I indicated that the reservations were for an anniversary. Got seated in the bar. Not suitable for an anniversary celebration. My wife deserved better after putting up with me for Food and service were well above average, but they should have paid attention to why we were there
