This is one of the best places to get plate lunches and/or poboys, burgers in this town. The food is so good and so much, it usually knocks me out for about 2 hours right after I'm done eating it. Because of that, I'm only going to award it 4 stars. But I enjoy the food so much, and they've never gotten my order wrong, I'm gonna go ahead and restore that star, totalling 5 stars. So just be aware that after eating here, you will be basically incapacitated for 1-2 hours.

The food is excellent, but make sure to arrive early because they prepare a lot of delicious dishes quickly.

I ordered the hamburger steaks, which came with two scoops of mashed potatoes topped with brown gravy, onions, and mushrooms, along with a scoop of corn grits and black-eyed peas. Delicious! I even bought a banana for my son, and the total came to just $13.72. I left so full, I took a break and even had a small snack later on. With meals this good, I don’t think I’ll ever want to cook again! The staff members are incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless. I highly recommend this establishment!
