The house cocktails are super well-crafted with a focus on fresh and flavorful ingredients. And that same ethos carries through to the food menu. Its compact and thoughtfully composed around super local ingredients but the throughline is always flavor.
We had to change reservation time last minute and everyone was so accommodating! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious (Scottish Salmon and a Grilled Hanger Steak with the Hickory Smoked Duck Nachos as a starter). The drinks from the bar were also amazing, balanced, and creative!
Zinc remains my favorite restaurant in New Haven. Countless dinners here, never disappointed. One of the advantages that Zinc has over many other restaurants is the clean style of cooking. Fresh healthy food always.
The mussels in curry broth were amazing! We had a wonderful meal, thank you!
This restaurant is a romantic spot to celebrate a special anniversary. The service is excellent.
