Munchies - New Haven

We stopped by here on our way back to Massachusetts from New York City and had a fantastic experience. We tried five different sandwiches, all of which were excellent, and the sweet plantains were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed our meal at the outdoor picnic tables. We'll definitely be returning! The owner is a great guy who truly appreciates his customers.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the food and menu. The guest service is excellent. I ordered a sub along with a side of potato mac and cheese. I can't recall the specific names of the dishes, but both were delicious and well-prepared! I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

A hidden gem for anyone craving a good meal late at night. While most places close by 9 due to COVID, this spot stays open until 11:45 PM on most days. I tried the FXO sub, and it was absolutely delicious – it just melted in my mouth. The fries were unexpectedly flavorful, thanks to a seasoning that really took them to the next level. I’ll definitely be returning for more! The staff was friendly and laid-back, and there are regular sandwich options too, so don’t be intimidated by the menu if something doesn’t appeal to you. They also offer veggie options and even a vegan dessert, which I’m excited to try next time!
