Przekaż informację zwrotnąI 'm 61 and grew up in CT eating Hummel Hot Dogs. We were very low income but mom always has a 10lb case of Natural Casing Hot Dogs in the freezer. I left New England in 1979 and haven 't had a good Hot Dog since. I simply can not eat a packaged standard Hot Dog! I miss Hummel Dogs !!!! Mom always boiled them until the casing cracked, only way to eat them with mustard and kraut.
I've been Eating Hummel Brothers Hamburgers and Skinless Franks for 20 years best quality compared to Other brands Hummel Bros is Number 1 , My Dad was a meat cutter and manager of our local A&P back well he retired in 1995) came back after WWII service and back to work there... The man ate hotdogs and Sausage in a time when they cut they're own beef, But he wouldn't touch hamburger Unless he brought it home to grind it.... I understand and have always been careful and in 20 years never had any problems

I tried their hotdogs for the first time this weekend. I got the regular franks and the one's with the red casing. The thing i like about them is they are not greasy. However, they do burst rather quickly while on the grille. Maybe these are better boiled? Once i bit into the hotdog i kept getting almost a sweet taste out of it. Not sure what they use for spices in their mix but i was a little taken back by the flavor. It's not the worst hotdog but i will say, there's nothing like the snap of a Rosol's dog and that flavor can't be competed with. I gave it a try but Rosol's hands down has the BEST hotdogs in this state.
Was here to deliver a straight load of beef, in and out in a heartbeat. No lumperfee, friendly people
