My mother had a normal pizza, meaning dairy cheese, it was quite a bit cheaper than mine, even though my vegan pizza had almost no topping. I think it is overdoing it on the vegan price.
What happened to da legna!? Always recommend it, always come here over the other pizza icons of New Haven. Even with their high very high prices it used to feel worth it. Mostly because of their amazing sour dough style crust and unique toppings. Well… something has changed with the crust, new recipes all around maybe? Just isn’t the same. Like many restaurants these days quality diminishes while the prices go up.
Pepe’s and Sally’s definitely have a rival. Especially when De Legna has unreal vegan options!! Just so delicious. They definitely need to bring vegan pepperoni back. Perfect place to host brunch tooFood: 5/5
Very unique types of pizzas in New Haven style. Pretty darn good.
Went here for the first time a couple days ago and it was great! The pizza was delicious, thin crust and loaded with toppings. We enjoyed some great cocktails as well, especially the espresso martinis! Our waiter was very attentive and the service was fast. The indoor seat space was very large but we enjoyed sitting outside in front because the weather was so nice. We will be going back for sure!
