Crown Fried Chicken - New Haven

This restaurant, Crown Fried Chicken, is better than all the other fried chicken chains in Connecticut. I was in New Haven and craving good fried chicken, and I was not disappointed. The chicken here tasted much better than KFC or Popeyes. It was very flavorful and juicy. There isn't much seating inside, so it's better for takeout. There is parking available on the side of the building.

The chicken was decent, but the potato wasn't great. When I got there, they only had breasts and wings available, but they were fresh, juicy, and very crunchy. Overall, the chicken was good!

The fried chicken at this restaurant is delicious and not greasy. There is no sit-down option, only takeout. The Derby location is larger and does offer sit-down service. You can find this restaurant on Whalley Ave. If you're in New Haven and craving tasty fried chicken, Crown is the place to go. They now accept credit cards in addition to cash.

Awesome chicken!! Great price! Friendly, quick service!! I have not tried the other locations but this location in New Haven,Whalley Ave is worth a try!
