Carmines Di Vega - New Haven

This was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. I love the color scheme and the decor; the atmosphere is lovely. The staff was friendly, and they serve authentic Italian cuisine. The food was delicious, and the sangria was excellent!

Wow! The food was outstanding—fresh, well-prepared, and top-notch quality at a great price! The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, perfect for conversations. The service was both friendly and incredibly efficient!

Absolutely incredible food! The owners greeted us warmly and were incredibly gracious. I had a combination of lasagna and meatballs, and the sauce and cheese were fantastic. The portions were generous! The staff truly makes you feel like family. Be sure to ask for the server named Crunchy—he’ll create unforgettable memories for you! It’s a small, owner-operated business, and I can’t wait to bring my family back when they visit from New Jersey.

One of the best meals I had in a restaurant of old age. Server was very nice, table bread was delicious, salads were delicious and fresh, partner and I had a chicken dish and a gnocchi bowl. Both were excellent. Come back soon!

Our family has eaten at carmines a lot, we have ordered for takeout, holidays, and catered events. Always good to support a family business. The food was COMPLETE AWSOMENESS!!!
