5 o'clock on May 1st, 2017 I ordered 2 pizzas, 1 large pfefferoni 1 medium extra cheese. I saw that when I came home and opened it. it's about the 3rd meal that was disappointing here. the district manager even served me this pizza! this is what I got when I submitted them email and a complaint. I'm sorry they were disappointed with their pizza. to ensure that our customers receive a consistent product each time at each location, new orleans pizza has standard quantities for all ingredients. for each pizza the number of pfefferoni pieces is counted and the cheese is weighed. as they said, I made their pizza and therefore I know that they have received the right portions, as determined by our office.
Imagine the following scenario: It's 10:28 PM on Saturday night. You have two choices for delivery in your end of town: Twice the Deal, or New Orleans Pizza. You vaguely remember that you have a policy tucked away in the classically conditioned part of your...brain never to ever order from New Orleans but you can't remember why. You ask your wife, and she can't remember, either. So you place an online order, and wait. And wait. And wait. Eventually, it's 11:28 PM, so you call New Orleans. No answer. You call again. No answer. You then call New Orleans customer service. The kindly rep on the other end calls the branch. No answer. They apologize profusely, and grant a credit. Thing is, the wife was once granted a credit there, but the staff won't recognize it. So you take a drive to the location. The sign states that their hours are until MIDNIGHT. But, despite the fact that you're not Sherlock Holmes, you notice that THEY'RE CLOSED. Locked up tighter than a morgue in a zombie apocalypse. Tighter than a mime's voice as they clamber haphazardly through a minefield wearing a blindfold. So, hungry and hypoglycemic, you issue the culinary equivalent of a fatwa on New Orleans, their inability to tell the time, their strong desire to not make money, and their inability to inform their headquarters that they've closed early. That's right: this franchise acts unilaterally, closes before their scheduled closing without informing their superiors, and refuses to honour credits applied to accounts. I will never order from this franchise again, and promise to actively inform others of their poor business practices and allow others to make an informed decision. You have lost at least two customers tonight and, with God as my witness, I will increase that number through information and truth. Good night, and good bye.
