I visit this place for one reason and one reason only: they have the best cream horns I've ever tasted, hands down. The staff is also quite relaxed and friendly.

My husband and I visit this bakery whenever we’re in Wisconsin, and they always impress us with their doughnuts. My husband is a big fan of the chocolate-filled doughnuts with vanilla cream, and I have to say, they are fantastic. I recommend calling ahead or using their website to place an order, as it ensures they have what you’re looking for when you get there. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is consistently friendly. If you enjoy baked goods, this place is definitely worth a visit. Thank you!

Every time I step inside, I'm flooded with nostalgia from my childhood years. I fondly recall visiting with my relatives to enjoy the amazing hard Swiss bread and chocolate tart. They used to have a tea room upstairs, which has sadly been gone for some time. I cherish the memories of sitting up there with my grandmother, sipping orange spiced tea and having a cream horn. If you're in the area, make sure you stop by this place—you won't regret it!

After some biking riding on the great nearby trails we decided to stop into town to see how they were surviving Covid. We were excited to see a few shops open including the bakery so we went in. The display cases were still well stocked given it was late in the day (a sign perhaps that business is slow? . I selected a peanut square which was good but a bit dry and not what I remember from my younger days in Milwaukee. I also got a chunk of the bee sting cake for later it was pricey but excellent. That center of cream is wonderful. We also picked up a donut like pastry with a maple filling that was quite good. So why just three stars given the good eats? Neither of the young workers were wearing masks! State mandate or not as a business serving the public the owners should be enforcing mask wearing by their staff during this times. Perhaps they deserve just one star!

Stopped here a month or two ago and forgot to publish. I got a caramel apple fritter, plus 2 rhubarb bars for my parents, plus a turtle, and some apple bread. Everything was very good. The rhubarb bars were tart and my dad said the turtle was delicious. From what I heard, the apple bread was moist and delicious. I wasn't around for that but I got it for the grandkids and my mom when the grandkids were visiting her. The one drawback is what I got for myself. The fritter was not that great. It had some caramel icing but the fritter itself didn't have a glaze or anything in addition so it was fairly dry. Next time I'm through the area, I'll probably try it again as everything else seemed very good.
