Valhalla Inn - NEW DENVER

The service at this restaurant was excellent. I tried the spring rolls with ginger lemon sauce and they were delicious. The wonton soup was also outstanding. I also had breakfast there and enjoyed the good portion sizes. The service was very friendly. I will definitely return next time I pass through.

The service was good at this restaurant. I opted for takeout and ordered beef barley soup, a Caesar salad, and cheesecake. However, I was disappointed to find that the food came in very small takeout containers. The soup was thick and unappealing, although it was still edible. The Caesar salad was decent, but on the smaller side. The cheesecake was also small and had a grainy texture, not the smoothness I expected from cheesecake. In total, all the food cost $24.

I can't speak for other reviews, but I found the service at this restaurant to be excellent and friendly, and the food was good.

There're few dining choices in the village. If Kaslo, Nakusp, Crawford Bay, Slocan, Winlaw can offer respectable dining options, why can't New Denver?

The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk to beach, downtown, grocery store and the resturant attached serves decent food.
