Osaka Express - New Castle

I ordered the salmon with rice and vegetables for lunch (L23 on the lunch menu) and I really enjoyed it! My only complaint is that it was loaded with a lot of onions, so I had to remove most of them to fully enjoy the rice. I will definitely order it again, but with 50% fewer onions next time.

During my first visit, I ordered the large shrimp hibachi for lunch along with some pizza rolls. The hibachi was served hot and the food was excellent! The shrimp was incredibly fresh, and the portion size was generous, which was a pleasant surprise given that shrimp can often be overcooked at other places. However, the pizza rolls were a bit disappointing. They might have been better if they had been as hot as the hibachi. In fairness, I had ordered the food for pickup, and although they said it would be ready in 15 minutes, I arrived about 30 to 40 minutes later, so that's on me. Still, the pizza rolls didn't have the authentic Philly flavor I was hoping for; they tasted more like a generic Totino's pizza roll. Overall, I will definitely return for the shrimp hibachi, but I might skip the pizza rolls next time.

My friend and I dined there in March 2019 during a road trip. What can you expect from a small Asian restaurant in a strip mall? Apparently, more than I anticipated! This place was fantastic! The service was friendly, the food was quick and tasty, and the tables were spotless. We were genuinely impressed.

That was my first time I took out of this restaurant and I'm glad I did it! The lady I think is the owner and was very nice, let me order when closed and I ordered a fillet Mignon and Teriyaki chicken duck. It was incredible! The prices are also amazing. I highly recommend this facility.

No frills hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. Excellent food with fast service and you can't beat the prices!
