No one cleared our appetizer plates or bowls so table was crowded through whole meal. Forgot to bring our second round of drinks. Didn't check back at all. Dropped off our first round of drinks then started clearing tables without asking for our food or appetizer order. Really disappointed. Don't recommend.
My wife and i enjoyed Sunday afternoon eating on the deck. Our salads with protein (salmon, blackened haddock) were plentiful and delicious. And our drinks were also very good. You can’t beat the views. Our young, college student server was engaging and attentive. With all that being said, it’s only 3 stars for service and here’s why: after my wife and I declined appetizers, the server said “well, can I get you started with some bread.” And we said yes. When he returned with the rolls, I said “so many restaurants no longer offer bread.” It was clearly implied the bread was “on the house” so we were surprised to see a $9 charge for four rolls. We noticed later the rolls were on the menu under appetizers. But we left feeling our server was intentionally less than transparent in order to run up the bill a bit (and the tip). He had at least two opportunities to let us know the rolls weren’t pro bono. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
We LOVE Latitudes Restaurant at Wentworth By The Sea! The outdoor setting is so beautiful overlooking a Marina and Country Club. We live an hour away and travel for a late afternoon lunch or is our restaurant of choice during our summer stay at Wentworth By The Sea. We dined at Latitudes this week and had 3 amazing meals...on some of the the most beautiful summer nights you could wish for with the prettiest of sunsets, and no humidity! We love their seafood tower, always so artfully presented, fresh and plentiful. We also enjoyed the grilled octopus and their clam chowder can't be beat! Love there were some new menu items and tried some including the Mixed Grill, Steak Salad, Local Grilled Tuna Tacos and Naked Bird. Their Prime Burger is top notch and if you order the Lobster Roll, hands down will be the BEST you've ever had! At Latitudes you'll also experience friendly service, great drinks from a creative menu and a nice wine list. They do not take reservations so plan accordingly as they are a busy place where both locals and guests enjoy (same as their main restaurant SALT which is also delicious). Any wait goes by rather quickly as you can enjoy a drink while taking in the beautiful views. If you are staying at the Wentworth, you can always visit to check the wait and put your name in either way be sure to visit before they close for the season!
Poolside dining. Wildly overpriced. Two lobster rolls and one beer was $91. The coleslaw was good. The lobster roll was OK- lots of lobster in a buttery frankfurter roll. Service was awkward and slow.Wheelchair accessibility: This place is not accessible at all.
Beautiful water views, service was the usual seasonal young kids but above average. Food good if not memorable. Worth a few hours and a few cocktails.Food: 5/5
