Efes Mediterranean Grill

I stopped by Efe’s to grab food. I was really surprised by the food selection. The food came out fresh and was really good. I tried the lamb gyro and hummus. Both were incredible. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean. Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Loved the dessert named kazandibi! Nice place n good food. We always go here for family dinner.

Great service and more importantly, excellent food!! I've been going here since I started Rutgers in 2009! They have continued to grow. They now have a beautiful sit in area upstairs and opened up a bakery next door. So happy to see they're still around. I get the shepard's salad with feta and a mixed grill platter. You can't ever go wrong with that.

I decided to try to chicken gyro wrap and falafel. Both were really good! I was impressed about how fresh the food was. The place was really clean and well kept. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back!

Great place for some great food. The bread they give you after you place your order is very warm and soft. The sauces they provide with the bread are to die for. I ordered some chicken and the wait time for the food was reasonable, the food itself was flavorful, specially when combined with the sauces. The rice was also surprisingly good. I was expecting generic white rice but this was moist, richly flavored and I couldn't stop eating it! The little veggies provided on the side were also nice to eat with a flavorful but light relish. My only feedback to the management/staff is this: I was done with my food at about 11:15PM. The restaurant closes at midnight. Understandably, the staff was cleaning up the windows before closing. This would usually not be a problem except the cleaner being used was Windex (or something very similar to it) and had a very strong smell to it. I would recommend either using an odorless cleaner or cleaning the windows after there are no more customers remaining. The strong smell of the cleaning solution being used right next to me really affected the flavor of the food (but I'm glad I was almost done eating anyway). Just some small feedback.
