Grand Pizza - New Britain

The food is excellent! The waitstaff are a bit eccentric but friendly and enjoyable to be around. This place is definitely worth a visit. The location has had a troubling history with restaurants frequently closing, but it’s time people give New Britain a chance—it's a community on the rise! Update from December 2021: They're changing ownership again, but this time it will be taken over by the same owner of the popular Mafungo restaurant just a block away. Here’s hoping for the best!

This restaurant offers amazing food and excellent service. The bartender, Will, is particularly attentive and ensures that you receive exactly what you ordered. I highly recommend trying anything from the food menu, and the staff is incredibly friendly. It's a great place for families too, thanks to their beautiful dining area. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I went in search of Italian cuisine and stumbled upon this fantastic place. Everything was fresh, bursting with flavor, and the marinara sauce was unbeatable! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I will definitely return and highly recommend you stop by as well.

The garlic knots were delicious, and the selection of pizzas is fantastic. The ambiance is a bit dim, and the bar area is small but still quite cozy. The bartenders are excellent as well. The crowd here isn't made up of the usual rowdy drinkers, which makes this place a pleasant surprise in the city—it's a bar/restaurant where you could comfortably bring your in-laws.

Three days ago, I discovered the most delicious pizza at Grand Pizza and Restaurant! I couldn't be happier and relieved. After moving to Connecticut three years ago, I had almost given up hope of finding a decent pizza! I tried time and again but had no luck at all, and I found myself lamenting to family and friends. Now, I’m thrilled to share my experience with anyone who will listen! I even called the owner, Tommy, to express my gratitude for his exceptional skills in pizza making. The sauce is perfect, the crust is amazing, and the toppings are just right. Running a restaurant is challenging, and I wanted him to know how pleased I am and to congratulate him on his business. It's important for people to hear positive feedback! I told him, “I’ve got your number, buddy” and I plan to call again and again. Yay!!!
