Przekaż informację zwrotnąHonestly, we have coming to the East Side since 1979…always awesome. Post Covifwe have been there 5 times, the last being June 29, 2024 for a birthday celebration. The venue and the wait staff were awesome, our meals were not so there were 6 of us) The saurbraten was tough, the prime rib was way overdone, and the dinner salad was missing several items. And their Schnitzels are no longer offered with veal. This is not the old East Side…sorry to say
We’ve celebrated many great moments at East Side. Best memory ever was being there with my little niece and having the accordion player swing by the table and play twinkle twinkle little ?
Pure Gemütlichkeit! The best authentic German food around. Always a fun night filled with cheer and bier.
Authentic German food like my mother made! Feels like your in Germany! Parking: Lots of space!
My family and I went to East Side Restaurant to celebrate my sister's graduation from college. The East Side is an authentic German restaurant serving dishes from Schnitzel to bratwurst. We had the wurst sampler as an appetizer, which consists of bratwurst, knockwurst, and German sausage, all served over sauerkraut dressed with mustard and demi glaze. Even though I'm not a big fan of sausage, the bratwurst was my favorite because it was much easier to chew and had more flavor. The mustard and sauerkraut added great and complex flavors!I got their Paprika Schnitzel for my meal. All of the entrees are served with the seasonal vegetable and your choice of potato: spatzel (potato noodles), mashed potatoes, potato pancakes, or fries. I opted for the potato pancakes; they were delicious and had an excellent crust to them. The seasonal vegetable were buttered carrots a reliable and safe side. The crispy schnitzel was hearty with the creamy paprika gravy. The components worked very well together. The members of my party each enjoyed their beers of choice, a crowd pleaser being their grapefruit beer which was equally refreshing and tasty. If you’re ever in the vicinity of New Britain, I would highly recommend going here! Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp upfront and a accessible bathroom in back
