Pho-thuy Hong - New Brighton

I decided to check this place during my lunch break and was quite satisfied with it. my only problem was that I didn't get a lot of meat, except that it was delicious and I ate almost everything! the place is actually called Pho-400 and the menu prices to which someone is posted are wrong. the owners are really sweet! I came here early when they opened so I could sit quickly.

This is place is great. I've been here many times for lunch break for work. The amount of food, and service are worth every penny. I highly recommend coming here if you like Vietnamese food. Also great service. Seriously great.

The place might not look like much but the food is excellent, and this is coming from an Asian person who eats this type of food all his life. I like to considered this place one of the many hidden gems around the Twin Cities, their price is affordable, the staffs are welcoming and nice, and good taste delicious. My only complaint is the number of staffs working, if you go during a peak time, you'll have to wait a little longer before you get your food. However, the wait is definitely worth it. I think if they improved and hired more staff, that will help solve this issue.

Wow, I have to say I was surprisingly impressed at the Pho here! A quick Yelp search in the area led me to find this obscurely located Vietnamese restaurant. It's a stand alone half abandoned looking building and dimly lit on the inside. Looks like there is or used to be some sort of small store on one end of the building. They were doing a pretty good lunch business and most people seemed to be eating large bowls of pho. My friend and I both ordered the #16 house special Pho combo and our food was out in under 10 mins. Our bowls were quite large and filled with a generous amount of beef brisket, tripe, and beef meatballs. The side of pho veggies were fresh and we got lots of basil which I love. I really enjoyed the rich flavorful broth and it had a great amount of noodles to ingredients- they didn't skimp on either. Service was speedy and prices are cheap. My one complaint would be the fortune cookies dropped off with our check were incredibly stale. Don't come here for the atmosphere people, come here to fill your tummy with dynamite pho! Looking forward to trying their grilled meats and rice noodle platters next time!

Can't believe that I haven't been in here. Looks like a dump from the outside, it's nice inside, clean and always busy when I'm there, that's a good sign right?? The pho is at least two servings, the egg rolls , wonderful, the spring rolls were fresh and very delicious!
