I have to admit the lean brisket was the best I've ever eaten but unfortunately the service flunked. The order window was closed as soon as we stepped up to it. The man working the window was pulled to help fill the App orders. Obviously we were not a priority, we waited over 30 minutes to have our order taken. Several people gave up and left and one man downloaded the app and picked up his food the same time we did. I understand this happens often. Maybe they want to add to their employees? If we order from this location again it will be thru the app.
Helped an employee who had nearly lost a display to a fall taking only seconds of my time. He thanked me and I was on my way. He and another employee found me in line a bit later and ....we'll, HEB is very thankful to those that help them. Thank you again whoever you were. I appreciate it!
The best brisket I've eaten. The price is very average. I think it's better than Blacks and most of the places I've eaten brisket. I was kinda pleasantly surprised because I was reluctant to try it at first and I'm so glad that I ended up doing it. I would kick my self in the rear for not doing it.
Twice in 2 days I have been charged for items that they didn't include (ordering online), and doing it this way I was out approximately $30 which they refunded $11. Can't even find the order as placed the second time. What a shame. Why set up a curbside (made day the day before) with this much trouble. What is the problem? How many trips to include HEB BBQ for Thanksgiving...
