Bush's Chicken - New Braunfels

The reason I gave two stars is not because of the food, it tasted good. What upset me was the fact there are no prices listed on there menu and when I went online I only saw apparently old prices. But to spend $28 on two 4 piece tender meals with the addition on an individual okra and a few extra rolls is terrible. It was myself and my daughter and then my oldest daughter's family of 5 which I gave her my coupon for 16 tenders, 2 family sides, family gravy and 4 rolls for $24.99. I got less and spent more. We had decided to go here before going to the drive-in. If the prices would have been posted I wouldn't have eaten there. And I won't be back.

Terrible. I used to love this place, but my last few visits have been disappointing. The portions were tiny and the crust was tough, with very little filling. The gravy was watery or just plain thin. I hoped it was just a bad day for them, but it was just as bad, if not worse, the second time I went about a few weeks later. I'm sorry, but I've decided to take my business elsewhere.

It was really great! However, it is definitely pricier than other chicken restaurants, which made me a bit suspicious.

Please note that the prices listed online are not current and have increased. We understand the reasons for this, but the website needs to be updated. We placed an order from a local business, and it was a bit pricey for feeding a large group. The food was decent.

Excellent traditional fried chicken, green bean, gravure and roll. chicken strips could use some improvements and our little light on the huh recently.
