Above Ground Pizza - New Braunfels

Best wood fired pizza in the area. The Ceasar salad is better than any I've had in expensive restaurants.

Pizza is stupid salty. NB local and have been wanting to try this place for awhile.It will be our last. So freaking disappointed.It's disgusting. I mean seriously, why the heavy salt?I had 1 slice about 20 minutes ago and my mouth still feels raw from all the salt that was on that 1 slice.

I went last week and the pizza was no good it was worst pizza I eat in my life and service was no good

Had walked in once before when Dashing and knew that I had to come back on my own! I was not disappointed!!! Try the Margherita Pie! I added blackened chicken! Delicious!!!

It has been three months, but I still think about this pizza! Some places talk about their woodfired ovens, Above Ground actually has the taste of wood firing and that is a good thing! We found out about it from a local and it has the feel of a well kept gourmet secret. We made sure to get a big enough pizza that we could take some home with us on the long drive back to Dallas. It didn't make it for a second day before being devoured. We will be back when we can! If you're in the area, even just passing through, it's worth the stop.
