The Country Biscuit - New Bern

The food was decent, but the service felt strange, as though they didn't want our business. Additionally, the prices were quite high.

I ordered the chicken and waffles, but I was disappointed. The chicken portion was quite small, and the waffles were overly sugary. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the meal as much as I'd hoped. I really love chicken and waffles, so I'll be looking for them at another place. However, I plan to return to try the eggs—stay tuned for that update!

The service was incredibly friendly, and my biscuit and gravy were perfect!

Usually I am lazy and just eat the boring breakfast buffet at the hotel I’m staying at. The Country Biscuit is one of down home eateries that has great food, service and atmosphere that you can’t find anywhere but home. No matter which breakfast you choose you can’t lose. Just make sure you have the grits with any meal. They are the best!

The food was good, they got 3/4 orders wrong, I misread the menu ONLY because it was weirdly worded. The service was slow, the food was good, not very many disabled/accessable seats though. It was kinda dirty, the server was nice tho.
