Churrascaria Novo Mundo - New Bedford

The finest Portuguese cuisine this region has to offer. her roasted bun is the absolutely best everywhere.

Wow... Went here for dinner the other night. It's a tiny little place, lively and packed with locals. I wanted to try something off the appetizer menu. They were out of the Spanish style clams, which I heard were fantastic, so I opted for the fried calamari. What a treat. Fresh crispy on the outside soft on the inside just enough chew...lovely flavor, lovely sauce that accompanied it. The bread was really wonderful. I guess it comes from the bakery next door, New Bedford baking company. It was crispy on the outside and fresh and slightly chewy on the inside. I also got the Portuguese style BBQ half chicken that came with the lovely fresh salad and a boiled potato. Very hardy portions. I'll definitely be back.

I was so happy to know that I would be eating at an authentic Portuguese restaurant. And The Churrascaria Novo Mundo did not disappoint. We had large orders of chicken, ribs, rice and fries. Friends, the chicken was flavorful and juicy, they cube the ribs and they are fantastic. And um, the rotisserie chicken was at the table less than five minutes after ordering. To close, I had grandma's pudding.. Delicious!! Want to eat like your at home?? Stop by, and Service is excellent, they check up on you regularly and it is prompt and caring, really Great top to bottom.

Another great place to choose when your in the mood for great food and friendly service. Why not give them a try and see why I gave them 5 starts.

I've been in numerous times and for the most part I can't complain but today service was just not it !!! Greatly disappointed in the service today. Order two appetizers one of them came the other one never did and even after when the check came we still didn't get the appetizer.. I literally had to go up to the window and grab it myself. I literally asked three times about it before, during and after the meal and got told I know one time, that's right a second time, and oh yeah the third, and still never got it.not impressed at all..
