Speedway - New Alexandria

Unbelievably dirty. Truck pumps seem like they haven't been cleaned since they were installed. Auto pumps arent far behind. Inside the store is the same story. The management should be absolutely embarrassed at the state of this store.

Speedway's food is surprisingly good. The people on sandwiches that I have had have always been a good choice. I also recently tried a chipotle chicken wrap. For the price honestly you can't go wrong. Not a bad option for a cheap lunch.

TLDR: Good quality gas, fair prices, annoying high-pitch sound out near the gas pumps, musty smelling restrooms. I've been to Speedway on Route 22 near New Alexandria many times. I have their Speedperks card and get discounts on gas, which is a definitebonus. I used to have a 2006 Cobalt LS that was super picky about gas. It would shutter and rumble with some gas, and run greatwith other gas. It never complained about Speedway. My new car, which is a 2009 Mercury Milan Premier, does not complain aboutit either. Any time I buy gas here, I'm annoyed by a high pitched ringing sound. It seems to come from the roof above thepumps, even though I don't notice any speakers. It's not super loud, but it's just the right tone to really irritate me. Anytime I've used the men's restrooms while I was there, there was always a faint musty smell and like 20 car air fresheners stuckto the vents on the ceiling. I've never encountered a large mess in the restroom, but sometimes it kinda smells like it.

Hello , Speedways are always good places to stop for gas , snacks , take a restroom break and catching a breather on your travel to somewhere. Lots of parking , friendly associates, well lit and secure . Lots of gas pumps too. This Speedway is locatedacross from Watt Mack at the Intersection of Rt 22 and 119, with a large Tractor trailer parking area and I believe fuel also ,in the back lot .. Easy access to both front and rear lots. Hope this helps , God Bless , Keith..

The staff has always been courteous and helpful. There are many many things on the shelves that I would have never expected. Although I must say, restrooms that can only accommodate one person is a bit annoying when nature calls. A second bathroomfixture in each would be awesome.
