Boomtown Kitchen - New Albany

You're better off spending your hard earned money elsewhere.I've never had an issue with any business in downtown New Albany until I came to this place. The bartender barely acknowledged me like she didn't want to be there, and when she did, she was quite rude. Never asked if I wanted anything else either. Won't be coming back.

Unfortunately, I can't score this place any higher. I really wanted to like it more, but I couldn't. The cajun porkchop was bland and dry and the service was sub par and slow. Best part of the meals were probably the appetizer and my kids' chicken nugget dinner (they appear to be cut and breaded in house). However, I would have given them another chance if it wasn't for the fact that there is a giant soft spot in front of the men's urinal that leaves you feeling like you are about to fall through. If they fix the bathrooms and speed stuff up a bit, I'd be hapoy to give them another shot. Until then, there are better places I can spend $80-100 for 2 adults and a toddler.

Great place to eat. Their burgers are awesome. My kids love eating here because the floora have pennies epoxied to them. They are a little pricey but the food is definitely worth it!Parking: Plenty of parking in the YMCA lot or the adjoining lot next to the building. Short walk either way to the restaurant.

Service was good. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was moist and flavorful and the waffles, light and fluffy. That syrup was yummm. The table also got the loaded fries, ok but nothing special and the jalapeño cornbread balls. They were good, rather spicy but I'm a wimp when it comes to spice and jalapeño anything should have a kick.

Boomtown Creamery does Ice cream deluxe. You've never had a milkshake like a boomshake! The strawberry cheesecake boomshake was beyond anything I've ever drooled about. 10/10 recommended to satisfy that sweet tooth.
