Great food, just don't tell your cardiologist you eat here. Services comes and goes. Used to be a great guy that worked the drive through. Haven't seen him in a couple trips now. To call this place an icon is probably not doing it justoce.

We stop here every time we head for the lake! We love all the food and especially the shakes!

Terrible experience this visit. Been going here for 55+ years. Our Hamburgers were well over cooked.,black on entire outside. My double hamburger was 2/3rds size of my friends single. When asked waitress about the double size she advised that's our double. If that's true it was 1/6th the size the last time I was there. Also the Suzy Q's were uncooked or raw and cold. Took 25 minutes to get recooked burger and Suzy Q's back . SQ's were cold and chewy and D. Burger black on outside and crunchy. Can't believe owner and cook M..e would ever put out a product like that. Soo... disappointed I don't know if I'll ever go back. Wished I had gone to the BBQ restaurant down the road instead. Short staffed so you better plan on an hour for burger and fries during lunch.

This place is an old treasure. You don't find many cozy diners like this that have such a long history. The foods good and the service has been fantastic. Prices are pretty good as well. Check this place out, if you like a good old fashioned di er this place will not disappoint.

If you like food like you had from your childhood, this diner is for you! Great burgers, curly fries, etc. Tiny, but amazing!
