Deutsche Küche in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Wir waren zu zweit kurz nach 12:00 Uhr dort und wurden, trotz noch leerer Tische, gefragt, ob wir reserviert hätten. Wir hatten keine Reservierung, bekamen jedoch freundlich einen Tisch. Nach kurzer Zeit, noch bevor wir unser Essen bestellt hatten, füllte sich das Restaurant schnell. Der Chef kam sogar aus der Küche und begrüßte alle an den Tischen freundlich. Beide Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und wussten, was sie taten. Das Essen war gut und reichlich zu einem erstaunlich fairen Preis. Für einen Mittagstisch mit extremer Auswahl kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder, da es direkt in der Nachbarschaft liegt.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, ein Café inmitten eines alten Bauernhofs. Wir besuchen es während jedes Urlaubs mindestens einmal. Extrem leckere Kuchen mit großer Auswahl. Selbst bei sehr windigem Wetter kann man hier ungestört Kaffee und Kuchen genießen. Service: Vor Ort essen, Mahlzeit: Sonstiges.

The Marienhof Cafè is located in the courtyard of the same name, near the city centre of Neustadt. The Marienhof Restaurant, Marienhof Antique Antique Shop, an apartment and the MH-spot, a shop with local specialties such as sausage, cheese, honey, liqueurs and numerous souvenirs and decorative items. In the cafè you can sit in the house, on the ground floor there is the glazed cake counter for preselection of the desired pastries, or you climb a floor higher, where an extended floor invites you to sit comfortably. In beautiful weather it is possible to conquer one of the beach baskets on the adjacent meadow or to use the comfortable garden furniture. Be careful because of the light terrain, there is a risk of tilting. Finally, you want to drink coffee and not fertilize the green. The offer shines with numerous cakes baked in the house itself, also cakes are offered. There is a wide range of hot drinks. As already mentioned above, the preselection at the cake counter is made, the ordered cakes and beverages are then usually brought by the friendly service, it is the owner himself, but also good aids are provided to the chosen place. Usually this is quite fast, but with a larger number of visitors you need to plan longer waiting times. In any case, the quality of the wonderfully decorated and very large, delicious cake pieces justifies the waiting time. Drinks such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato or tea selection leave nothing to be desired. The price is within the usual framework for New Town and surroundings, so you are not poor. After the café visit, a tour is recommended by the nearby Marienhof Antik or MH points. Who knows Karl's strawberry farm has a branch here that knows what to buy in the MH. The offer is approximately similar. The complex is within a few minutes walk from the marketplace, but there are also numerous free parking spaces on site.
