Totally disappointed!!!The Rumpsteak was tough, the "Röstwiebeln "was probably made in the frituse. The meat was favorable, but if we leave everything behind, we prefer to spend a few euros more for quality.
Everything's right here. The food is excellent (real dishes without compromise), visually appealing, the operators friendly, the drinks good and the price appropriate. In summary, a great place for big or small hunger, which also offers good cakes in the afternoon. The place is easy to find - easy follow signs Benjental. Parking is sufficient. The facility is appealing and friendly. The audience is mixed-very many hikers. We have sprouts, hunter carvings, wine-growing dish (Bratwurst, Leberknödel, Saumagen, Kraut) muzzles as well as peeled meat bowls with horseradish and Grumbeere. Conclusion: recommended at any time.
The forest house Benjental is located in the beautiful Gimmeldinger valley, halfway to the Kurpfalz Park. The inn is accessible via a well-developed road and many hiking trails and well visited. In the restaurant there is self service in the Palatinate Forest, but the food is brought to the tables. The decorative style is very economical and practical. The menu offers a plentiful selection (for a forest hut) of plums and defensive dishes. Salads and cakes are also offered. My selection was the small pine of lichen in horse sauce and salt potatoes, which are made themselves and very well tasted. In summer, a beautiful beer garden at the plätschernden brook is the destination of many visitors.
Beautiful rustic hiking restaurant in the Gimmeldinger valley. Very good peppers, freshly prepared, plentiful and mega tasty. The price/performance ratio is still true here. Drinks are brought for themselves, food is brought. The service is top! We're coming back!
