Goldmund Literatur Cafe - Neuehrenfeld

I know this is a cafe full of books which I am sure is cozy in bad weather BUT I'm reviewing its outdoor eating area in the square. Such a great place to enjoy the sunshine or the shade of the big umbrellas surrounded by locals. Friendly staff good food with lots of vegetarian options. Highly recommended for the summer

Delightful literary café with excellent brunches and good food. You are sourrounded by books, which makes any coffee or drink taste better. A little off the city center, but if you have a chance, just go there and spend some time chilling, indoor or outside.

Goldmund was recommended by some friends and it was really worth it. Greatly furbished and decorated with a nice area to sit outside as well on a quiet street. The menu is amazing, I would have loved to try everything from it. Staff was friendly and also recommended us their favourites. Great food, great people, highly recommended.

A uniquely bookish atmosphere great for coffe in the morning/afternoon and beer in the evening, the food is also very decent and the staff are friendly. A nice terrace in summer too.

A co-worker of me loves this Cafe as well as the bunch of loyal visitors of this place but I can not share their passions and adoration for Cafe Goldmund. Okay, the bookshelves are impressive but then Im not going there to read the mags or something.To me for a cuppa or something, I'd rather go somewehere else, since my Cappu and cake arent beyond what I already got- infact lesser than my standards. I was a bit disappointed to spend my sunday noon there ...
