Przekaż informację zwrotnąThe eating is elevated civic, interesting combined and very good. but the best thing about the star kitchen is, you'll be fed up and you'll be too sensible to praise. the personal is very friendly, attentive and therefore always present, but not intrusive. the ambiente is cozy, bright and a little bourgeois. overall the stay was very pleasant and the time ran away. in the marine one would say bravo zulu
Siggi Pfnür schafft den Spagat genau an der Grenze zwischen Sterneküche und bürgerlicher Kost. Hier gibt es fine Dining auf Niveau nahe dem ersten Stern oder auch einen schönen Zwiebelrostbraten. Wenn ich etwas empfehlen soll: gönnt euch eine Auszeit und lasst Euch einfach mit dem Überraschungsmenü überraschen, wie bei guten Sushi-Köchen das omakase, sieht Siggi hier das auch als Herausforderung an ihn, er möge etwas besonderes zaubern, und das macht er dann jedes Mal. Achtung: auf diesem Niveau ist es als Walk-In eher unwahrscheinlich einen Platz zu finden. Deshalb am Besten vorher reservieren und wenn man das Überraschungsmenü möchte das am Besten bei der Reservierung angeben. Auf diesem Niveau müssen Zutaten geplant werden, dann ist es einfach für alle besser.
A very successful evening! the surprise menu was incredible. can only recommend it. we'll be back soon.
After a long delay due to the move, I finally came back to the stephans. we were a small company and various menus were ordered. the appropriate wine-begleitung was served at the surprise menu. it was always like before: a dream! feed, weine and service perfect. great greeting from the kitchen in front. ambiente cozy, Mediterranean. Price/performance really excellent. Conclusion: always a top address in ulm/ Neu-Ulm!
The ratings were mostly very good, so I decided to give a try to the Stephan-Stuben.I was expecting the normal good german restaurant with his traditional interieur and a tasty and boring boring local food offer.Location is not from the best, but the exercise is located in a renovated traditional house.Entering, I was immediately taken in custody by a nice, young, smiling waitress.Being early, only another couple in the restaurant.First surprise: the ambient was very cared, clean, with a feeling of cared elegance I didn't experience in Germany before. Was more like being again in the '80s in Milan by Gualtiero Marchesi or in Sorrento by Don Alfonso...Menu very cared but with a limited offer. But all out of the ordinary.I decided for a haunch of venison, red cabbage and ravioli with cranberries and apple mousse. A glas of Prosecco with lemon and some other exotic fruit was the second surprise: excellent combination. @ complimentary apetizers gave me the time to wait the main course, both interesting, cared and somehow exotic in the combination.The venison was simply spectacular, as the hot chocolate tort with vanilla ice and plums. Last surprise was a "real" espresso (with other complimentary sweeties)In all, the place exceeded my expectations, personally one of the best dining in the last 15 years. The price is not for every day, being 51,70 without any drink. But the quality, care and atmosphere make it exceptional and - for me - worth the price. I can only recommend it to every gourmet passing in Neu Ulm.
