My sohn, his partner discovered this restaurant 12 months ago we followed his recommendation in oktober when we visited and found his recommended was on site. we have just returned from an annja holiday with friends, we all agreed that eating. is the most tasty that we took for a long time tasty chorizo brilliant prawns pil pil so tas so delicious! Mustels were a wonderful taste of the sea, but unfortunately we couldn't try everything on the menu so that another visit is on the maps. the house wine (red or white) is excellent, both food wines are at a reasonable price. thanks to antonia their family for wonderful food and hospitality.
Really worth a visit! We were a little put off by the pictures of the food on the menu and outside , I don’t usually like this, but the food is AMAZING! They do so many seafood dishes the pictures really help foreigners. on the...waitress’s recommendation we had 3 fish dishes between 2 people, and were able to try different wines before we bought. The langoustinas pil pil was wonderful, gambas a la plancha and boquerones first class. Staff very helpful and friendly with limited English. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Where do we start? A little gem of a restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by the waitress/owner, she was delightful. The food here was fantastic My wife and myself both had the ribs and we both said that they were the best we...had ever had. The wine was very good and the service was brilliant. The restaurant was very busy with a great atmosphere. The food was very reasonably priced and will be back again. We paid our bill and went on to another bar in town , then went to find a taxi to take us home. As we were walking to find the taxi rank , a car pulled up alongside us and to our surprise it was the waitress owner and she went out of her way to drive us back to our apartment. This was a lovely gesture and will not be forgotten. See you again in June
This restaurant was so good that we went twice during our 6 day stay during Semana Santa. Very friendly and efficient service. Absolutely all the food our party- of 8 one night and 4 the other was superb. Big portions as we discovered during the...first visit- so the second time we stuck to main course only. Calamares, Salmon, Puntillitos, Solomillo, Ribs, Entrecôte, Rabo de Toro (ox tail slow cooked- delicious we would recommend them all. We hope to return to Nerja again and will definitely be eating in La Bodega de Antonia!!
