Continuing my theme of ‘try something different’, I opted for lamb Hundi, described on the menu as ‘One of the great dishes of India. This is cooked with aromatic Indian spices, onions, tomatoes and peppers. It is served with a beautiful spicy sauce’. Sounded good. I opted for pilau rice. A couple of popadoms and various pots – chopped red onion, a spicy paste/sauce, a sweet chutney and some ‘green liquid’ – arrived fairly quickly to tide me over until the main meal. These are complimentary. Excellent. Always nice to sit outside and watch the world go by. The main course duly arrived and it was very tasty, with plenty of spices for flavour but just a medium ‘heat’. The service was very good, food was tasty, being on the street was great and pretty good value for money (Hundi €13.00, Pilau rice €2.90, Big Beer €3.80). I would definitely recommend Goa Town. Would go to 4.5 stars if that were possible.
Have been to this restaurant numerous times. The food is fantastic, the service is also great. I do feel the owners don’t seem to have the love for the restaurant anymore. The toilets are not that clean. The restaurant needs I good lick of paint. Maybe it’s just me being a little bit picky.
Very good Indian restaurant..as good as, and better than most of the Indian places in Nerja, except maybe Mum!
El menú excepcional. Todo muy bien y la atención ha sido perfecta. Muy recomendable para ir a comer o cenar.
Great restaurant, food was amazing, staff lovely, portions good sizes, will definitely return before we go home!
