The Island Cafe - Nerang

Delicious, fresh, great choices! There were five of us and we all loved it!

Nice place to eat. Friendly service, good tasting food, and priced what you'd expect for the area. Only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is that the strawberries in the açai bowl still had the calyx fully attached, so you had to get your hands in to remove it (or just be happy with eating it). You could also tell there was a lot of banana mixed in as it wasn't the usual darker colour. It didn't phase me, but the granola had sultanas in it which my wife didn't like.

Good cafe. Nice interiors. I love their setting on the entrance. That are best spots very European style. Coffee was good and entertaining. Scones and jam are good. So in general a good place to go.

Very nice cafe, food is amazing and love acai bowl so much

Extremely irritating sitting inside the cafe. Besides the noise of the coffee machine and general clatter of dishes, the radio was blearing and we had to keep asking them to turn it down as we (group of 5) couldn't hear our conversation. It was a cold day which is why we sat indoors. Lovely fresh scones with jam and cream. Would only sit outside next time weather permitting.
