Bistro 463 - Nerang

Staff had no clue what was going on. We just ordered 4 takeaway coffees and was told it would be a 10 minute wait (the place only had 3 other sets of customers). We decided to wait and watched the disasters around us unfold. It was literally a scene out of Gordan Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares. Each table eating returned food after they were served, each table had to get up to request cutlery for their food. When someone approached the counter they were left waiting for 5+ minutes with all 4 people behind the counter completely ignoring them. There was one particular junior staff member who had no clue. After sitting there for 20 minutes, with no coffee arriving and feeling awkward with everything going on, we decided to go up and cancel our order. We were then told that our coffees hadn't even been started as there was never an order for them!

Their customer service was so bad that we didn't even stay after he told us what we couldn't have. All we had asked for was a menu but the server just looked at us and said we haven't got ...... and then rhymed off a couple of things. So we didn't even get a menu, i said I will just have toast and he just looked at me as though I had asked for the world and said just toast? Sorry but their customer service is shocking. I will never be going again.

Out of the 3 times I have had food from here, all were really, really bad, and Im not even fussy! 2 pastas.. 1 with no flavour and 1 which had huge cubes of bacon that hadnt seperated and pasta all stuck together. Pizzas havent been great at all. Yellow curry was really good and the chips are good too but the burger was ruined by a burnt bun. Not sure why they would even serve that.

What a fabulous pizza bistro. We finally had authentic pizza like the Italians make in their home country. The crust is what I think makes the difference between a good and a fabulous pizza. This bistro has the best crust ever! The seafood pasta had a generous amount of succulent seafood. The fettuccine alfredo with the lean bacon and fresh creamy sauce disappeared equally as fast. This bistro is worth the short drive from Nerang village. Plenary of convenient parking available too.

We have eaten here many times and the food has always been a delight to savour. Great place for kids too, a most enjoyable place to dine.
