Anand Sagar Indian Restaurant - Nerang

I am an Indian fanatic, especially butter chicken. Honestly, this is tied for the best Indian on the Gold Coast with Agnee in Robina. Butter chicken was a massive and creamy dish, and the curry was perfect. A real hidden gem and of all places...located in Nerang, will definitely be back regularly.

We eat at Anand Sagar every few weeks and have always found the food to be of a high quality and tasty. Every meal I have ever had there has been great. Plenty of vegetarian options also.

It has become a bit of a regularity for my wife and i, where we buy takeout every Sunday night. But something must have been lost in the translation, i have always ordered my curries with no Coriander and very little oil, as i cannot...eat a lot of oily food. well since we have been going to this restaurant for several months it has been wonderful the food and service were excellent. but over the last few weeks we have noticed that the quality has dropped. we noticed this since we started asking for a discount with the use of our Seniors Card, which their menu clearly state is accepted. well over the last weeks the food has become oily and they put coriander on the food even though we ask to not put any and please use only a little oil. what raised my suspicions was. last Sunday when i ordered my takeout, i produced the seniors card, the girl taking my order said something to me in a very strange tone oh you also want a discount with the order).Well this raised my suspicions, but i failed to check my order properly. when I got home the curries had so much coriander mixed in we couldn't eat the food. I wanted to call and complain, but my wife said leave just do not go back as they now will lose loyal regular customers. I am now telling all Trip Advisors that this shop's quality has dropped, and they do not care about their customers. so please to avoid being disappointed do not go and also make sure your friends do not go either.

Their beef vindaloo is to die for. Coupled with some garlic naan bread this makes for a very tastey meal. I've always used the take away so that I can enjoy this with a nice glass of red. Cheers..

We decided to share a selection of appetisers and a main dish. We couldn’t eat everything as the appetisers were unexpectedly good-sized portions. Everything was really delicious and very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!
