Everything from the antipasti to the deserts are fresh withgenuine ingredients. Between our favourites a cut of meat, tender juicy and perfectly cooked. The wine list is not particularly extensive but offers some interesting products and prices are honest. The environment is cosy; it’s small, nothing luxurious, but very warm and homely.
We went to this restaurant recommended to me by a local person and I have to say we've been downtown. the room is spacious and well furnished, the menu consists of typical tuscia dishes slightly revisited with a very delicious final result. we took appetizers and the very first really good and abundant. value for money more than just. If I have a chance to get back to the nose, I'll be back. I highly recommend it.
Actually came twice in 3 days. Once for dinner and once for lunch. We had to unfortunately interrupt the dinner due to family matters, but by that time we already had the Antipasti and Primi. Spot on service and food, so we had to come back to finish our experience. Had lunch today and again amazing service with a different staff, good portions and very tasty food. The tortelloni were sublime and the “fritto calamari, gamberi, latticini” was really well fried. The Cannolo (forgot to take pic) is made to order so can appreciate the crunch of the pastry as well as the goat cheese tasty filling with pistachios. Met with Chef Gabriele and complimented him for the experience. Absolutely back asap!

The first good news is that there is a new owner. The previous one (Ristorante Colleoni) was terrible, unfriendly and unprofessional. Now the “Il Corte” is nicely done, with white tablecloth and a friendly and professional service. The prices are absolutely OK. With regard to the food, there is room for improvement maybe the Chef was not there this evening. The Sformatino di Patate was ok but a little plane (salt was missing). The Primi were excellent (Spuntafusi and Ravioli). The main courses were also fine but very small portions. The salmon with pistachio was a small slice with two spoonful of salad. The Tagliata di Frisona was of excellent meat quality but again a tiny portion (small piece of meat and the same two spoons of salad). The deserts require some work – not at least with regard to the presentation. To put a Baba con Limoncello just on a little white plate, is optically not very creative. The cream of white chocolate was actually the best desert, nicely presented in a glass. The Cannolo had a very good ricotta cream but the cannolo itself was not too fresh (my wife is Sicilian and she can judge). The Chocolate Vulcano (which means liquid chocolate inside) took extra preparation time, which is ok. However, it was left too long in the oven so the chocolate was not liquid any more – it was just a hot chocolate cake. This should not happen to a chef. In sum, a nice place with a lot of potentiality but a little more attention in the kitchen is required (the service was really good). We are happy to come back and to try it again. Maybe also the Carta di Vini needs some evolution, particularly with the white wines. Gewurztraminer from Elena Walch is excellent and for 25 Euros a very fair price. We had the Ribolla Gialla and the Vermentino, which were only medium
