This restaurant serves the best burek in the region! They offer delicious, fresh, old-fashioned baked goods that are made lovingly by a family-run business. We are grateful for their custom prazan pastries that they have been baking for us for years - it's a priceless treat!

Y 'all know how I love trying out new places, so I finally made it out to this Albanian Bakery. They have Bureks for $5.50 a slice. They have spinach, cheese and meat varieties. I tried the meat one and although the filling was a bit salty, the phyllo crust was fantastic! So crispy and delicious, although really greasy, haha. I need to try the other types! I also grabbed some dessert squares for $1.50 each. It 's a small bakery with some grocery items sold there too. Service was polite. The outside just says The Bakery so don 't go looking for Hasi Bakery even though that 's the name on the receipt and the business card. It 's in between H&R Block and Ottawa Shawarma, in the Greenbank Hunt Club Centre. Lots of free parking.
