New China Restaurant - Nelson

Great Chinese food. Like the atmosphere Also great for quick buffet on the run. I like the hot and sour soup.

We were hungry and looking forward to some Chinese buffet. We were the only guests and the buffet was very limited in choice and quantity. Would not go back.

They make the most delicious Won Ton soup with super fresh pork, delicious! The chicken egg foo Yong is always a hit, there's not much for goodies in their chow mein so we quit getting it because it's bland, but their veggie chop suey is done well & very tasty :) Had their lemon chicken before & it was very good too. Their take out is always hot & stays hot for the hour drive home.

The beef and broccoli beef tasted like it had been in a freezer for decades. Totally inedible. The Chow mein was made with flat noodles that must have been made at lunch time and were so mushy it was inedible. It also had no flavor whatsoever. Three of six of us had GI issues after being there that night. Would not recommend AT ALL!

We went out for dinner in Nelson and chose this restaurant because it offers a Chinese buffet. Unfortunately the dishes were tasteless. How do you ruin chow mein? The selection was also limited. And, the food was only warm not hot. The only good food was the carrot that was served as a dessert. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Meal is very reasonable. I don't think we would go back although ordering off the menu may be a better option.
