Marzano - Nelson

I ordered Pepperoni pizza. It was way too spicy. I noticed that they had a Spicy Salami pizza on menu. I did not expect Pepperoni pizza to be so spicy. I ordered Americano and Tiramisu Mousse for the desert. Americano was lukewarm. The mousse was not tasty and did not look like anything I saw in Italy. The staff was friendly.

We often eat at Marzano as we are locals. This time it was brunch with out of town guests who were treating me on my birthday. Our server was friendly and brought us our drinks promptly, however a hour after arriving we still did not have our breakfast, or a check in if we needed refills. She looped back to us eventually to tell us our meals would be 7-8 minutes. The restaurant was not busy, the servers were keeping busy rolling cutlery, but not checking on tables. No acknowledgment that this was a birthday celebration. Food was delicious as always, and our out of town guests loved the Marzano Caesar and the little biscotti with their latte’s.

Everything was amazing until the group of very noisy people came in . The nice and quiet atmosphere was disappeared . There were the couples who I guess wanted to spent this evening in intimate conversation. I would recommend you guys to keep these “energetic “ groups at the bar section not at Corvina room.

Birthday dinner! Went last week and had to go again for the feature pizza. Sooooooo good!!!!

Very nice place. Decor is tastefully done right. Food was very good and prices on par with most great restaurants. Went for breakfast this time and this was our first time there. Nice twist on the Pancakes. Definitely be back for a nice Italian meal next time in Nelson.
