We love the Indian cafe in Nelson, it's never been beaten in all our NZ travels. The Richmond branch is closer so we tried it again and liked it a lot. Food is excellent, atmosphere judged against the Nelson branch is not as good but was still good. We eat in as dishes are only $1 more to sit in than to takeaway..but no washing up or cleaning up to do! Would recommend the food anyday.
Vegetarian food was really good, great flavour. The cheese cake was average but the traditional Indian deserts I have had before and they are good, atmosphere is reasonable for Richmond Vegetarian options: A good selection of traditional Indian vegetarian meals cooked. Parking: Enough on street and nearby free car parks Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options
