Taaj Indian Cafe - Nelson

We absolutely love Taaj, the best Indian restaurant in Nelson. They truly spice up their dishes, which we appreciate. We've never had a bad meal there. While takeout can sometimes take a little while to arrive, the food is always served hot. We've also dined in, and the staff is consistently friendly.

Taaj has consistently been an excellent restaurant to order from, whether you choose Deliver Easy or prefer dining in. Their butter chicken is the best in town, closely followed by their lamb korma. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to both locals and tourists alike.

I visit this restaurant frequently and absolutely enjoy it. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is outstanding. Recently, I was served by Prachi, and she was fantastic! I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Rice; it's the most authentic Indo-Chinese fried rice you can find in Nelson. Awesome place to dine and relax. Great atmosphere and very good service. Prices were fair, and the food was amazing. Lots to choose from, but I am not the adventurous type, so I went for the classic. Butter Chicken with Rice and Garlic and Cheese Naan bread. The amount was very filling.

We will happily be making the 2 hr drive to come and eat here again and again and probably again. We can 't even explain the flavors of everything we ate. Everything was just down right INCREDIBLE. We ordered the 'Maharaja banquet for two '. The menu is full of options. The staff is very kind and polite which is a bonus. Nice restaurant seating as well. This is a must.
