Bold Rock Nellysford Cidery

One of my favorite places of all time! The blackberry cider is absolutely delightful (I miss the glass bottles!), and the view is stunning. I really enjoy when they host little festivals with live music and food trucks, but their own food is also fantastic. I think they update their menu with the seasons, which is great. Whenever I have something to celebrate, I always come to Bold Rock.

I absolutely love this place! I attended a bluegrass event here back in 2020 and just visited again today, June 28, 2022. The food was fantastic, especially on Taco Tuesday—I tried three different tacos: chicken, beef, and a roasted cauliflower taco, and they were all delicious! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff greet you with genuine hospitality. It’s also interesting to see their products being made and packaged right on-site. Overall, it made for a fun day trip!

What a fantastic venue! The staff is amazing, too! With such a wide variety of options available, it's tough to pick just one, so I recommend trying a flight to help you decide. They also have some really cool merchandise and plenty of their delicious cider available to take home. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the beautiful scenery! They serve food as well, which looked and smelled incredible, but we didn't order anything this time. We definitely want to come back and try the food on our next visit! I wholeheartedly recommend this place as a great spot to relax and unwind, whether you're spending an hour or the entire afternoon. Friendly dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. I urge you to give it a try – it's a wonderful place to be!

I absolutely love this place and everything they offer. My daughter enjoys their non-alcoholic sparkling cider so much that she decided to get a growler since it's not available in cans or bottles. We've also visited their location in North Carolina, which is fantastic as well!

The appetizers and shareable plates here are fantastic. The views from the outdoor seating area are breathtaking. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and the landscaping is beautiful, making you feel immersed in nature. The ciders are excellent—definitely try the flight to discover your favorites. The hike to the top is well worth it, especially when you can treat yourself to a cold drink at the end. Overall, I would describe the experience as peaceful, scenic, and relaxing.
