Marshal Guest House - Negombo

We ate here a meal and found the owner to be very authentic and accommodating. We asked for something that was not available and he was ready to get it for us. After a nice meal we were invited to the guest daughters 5th birthday party. We felt so welcome and were offered many delicious treats. Thank you for your beautiful nature and good luck for your beautiful family.

It wasn't here, but stayed here for a traditional Sri Lanka breakfast. The food was really authentic, super tasty and fill. And the house made tea is the best tea I ever had. Overall a really good food experience for a meal that was

I'm sorry to say, but we had a terrible experience there. We went to breakfast and honestly ended there only Becoz other places were closed. Service is the slowest I saw in Sri Lanka, they bring you things you did not ask (although they asked twice), coffee took age (we asked at least 4 times) and it is literally dirty water! Everything takes time, you need to ask 3 times to get the bill. It is also not hygienic and not clean! Last meal is SL and it was such a Fiasco :

Food is good with a reasonable price. The owner is great and makes great excursions on the island. If you want to plan a kind of trip in Sri Lanka, this is the best man for it! Trust me, we tried several before we met Marshall.

Loved every minute of staying here and will be back soon. The food was great along with the very helpful surface.
