The Jay Cafe - Needville

I ordered 4 banana puddings for takeout. They were advertised as banana pudding specials for the weekend, and they turned out to be exactly that. The dessert consisted of layers of wafer cookies, sliced bananas, and pudding, with wafer and pudding layers repeating. However, there was not enough banana in the dessert. The total cost for 4 puddings was over $21, which was not worth the long wait or the high price. I will not be purchasing them again.

We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant tonight, enjoying a chopped steak and a large Caesar salad. The service from Sammy Stavinoha was outstanding! Thank you, Sammy!

We had a fantastic dining experience tonight at Jay Cafe. Sammy Stavinoha provided excellent service with his friendly personality. He took great care of our table of 12, and the food was delicious, especially the peach cobbler. Overall, it was a great evening!

A lot to choose from here .and it is all delicious! after eating, make sure to ask a piece of cake! They are all amazing, but I am part of the coconut cream pipe! as always, the personal is friendly and helpful.

Great comfort food and great staff. You won't go away hungry. I had the chicken fried chicken breast. This is not a hammered down breast. The hand breading is not greasy. Home made mashed potatoes. Home made pie, my oh my. We took a rode trip from 99 and 1093 to see a country church. It was great to get out of town to a country church and a country café.
