Gaststätte Melchiorstuble

Yesterday, I was going to go to Swabian food again, so I ordered a sour roast there. After a very long waiting period, I got 2 small cartilageous tough fibrous pieces, thus inedible pieces, and a soaky latex. Unfortunately, the waiter could not activate the cook and the boss to contact me. No word or an apology or a contradiction. When I mentioned that I don't come back again, I can't help it.

The Melchiorstuben are located in Neckartenzlingen on the exit road towards Bempflingen. Parking is not so easy, because there are few parking spaces in front of the house. But you can park well obliquely opposite the large parking lot of the Melchiorhalle and then walk to the restaurant. As a small walk after dinner no bad thing at all; the interior of the restaurant is very rustic. Everywhere small and large decoration in rustic style, which in combination with the wooden beams in the room looks very cozy. The tables are large and the seats are comfortable. In summer there is an outdoor terrace. It goes to the street but there is not too much car traffic there, it is also cozy and quiet there. The service was always very friendly, fast and competent during my visits. Only if everything is really inside and outside, you have to wait a little. The price for food and drink are standard, just as you pay it in other places of this kind. The food is pretty good. Special highlight are the carvings in many variations. However, I had already had different experiences when the food was first-class, but once I had a very dry carving with much too little sauce that is not good for a restaurant in the Schwabenland: I would recommend the Melchiorstuben. Calling and booking in advance on weekends is quite crowded.

The picked up hostess smokes and drinks rather than serving the guests... Conclusion: The restaurant is no longer what it was, since the summer of 2016 the operator has changed:

First of all thanks to golocal that you have adapted the opening hours so quickly: I was eating with my family (woman 2 children 3 1 in the Melchiorstube. Those who like to eat traditionally Swabian are definitely well-resolved here. There are not only the friendly services and the ambience, there are also all the Swabian spies in the menu, Swabian naming the foods and not forgetting the super tasty food in this restaurant. We all agree that we haven't eaten as well as there for a long time. Surely my wife can cook well, I also only meant the restaurants: although there is always a place to eat, it is always well visited there, so I would definitely book there. Those who like to eat Swabian are super-resolved here. It's not really big, but not small. I just find it almost perfect for every swab. It is also more expensive to eat, but rather appropriate.
