Timbers - NEBRASKA CITY

I have no hesitation in giving this restaurant a five-star rating. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was remarkable. I wish every restaurant operated as efficiently and cleanly as this one. The quality of the food was fresh and flavorful, and the menu offered more than enough options. It’s refreshing to enjoy such a delightful culinary experience, especially since they seem rare these days. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

The atmosphere was lovely, without a doubt. I ordered a herbal meal and added the optional protein. The sweet component was a California mix that could easily be found in the frozen section of a grocery store. The sauce accompanying the vegetables was decent but lacked a distinct flavor. The protein was well-cooked and quite moist. Perhaps I just chose the wrong dish. I wouldn't recommend the meal I had, but I'm definitely open to trying something else from their menu.

The restaurant at the Lied Lodge is lovely and located near the entrance. The rolls they serve at the beginning are quite nice, and you can choose between regular or blueberry butter. The appetizers were decent, but I wasn't impressed by my steak frites—it looked a bit lackluster, although the steak was cooked perfectly. Still, at $36, I expected more. The Cajun pasta was enjoyable. They also provided a complimentary dessert for my friend's birthday, which was delicious.

My wife and I were in the lied lodge and ate three meals in timbers. service was good. the place was clean with very beautiful ambiente. eating, with taking out our breakfast dishes (very salty they replaced them and they were better, but still salty) was excellent. the baked brie and tiramisu were simply the best I ever enjoyed. I'd like to go back.

We ate all three meals there on our anniversary weekend the food was so good and the portions were big you definitely got what you paid for. Beautiful warming atmosphere, the food was hot and served in a timely manor, wait staff was friendly and courteous and helpful. Very nicely dressed work uniforms definitely would return.
