Neath Abbey Tescos Cafe

After visiting the restaurant in the Abtei Tesco Neath, I noticed that it was clean and had plenty of seating available. Initially, we were ignored by the service staff for a few minutes before being able to place our order. We ordered Babo rolls and a full breakfast at our table. Unfortunately, after 5 minutes, we were informed that the rolls were not available, despite being in a Tesco store where more could have been easily obtained. Eventually, my companion received his rolls and a flat white coffee, but they did not look appetizing. Despite reading positive reviews about generous portions, my breakfast consisted of a small egg, a slice of bacon, a thin sausage, a small portion of beans, two hash browns, and a small piece of toast – not nearly enough for an adult. It seems that the restaurant prioritizes profit over quality service and adequate portion sizes, leading to disappointed customers. I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan on returning.

I visited the café today at 3 o'clock after shopping. There were no other customers before me, and there were two employees working. However, I was not acknowledged or recognized. I grabbed some cakes and sandwiches, ordered coffee, and waited to pay for 10 minutes. One employee was busy cleaning dishes, while the other was organizing something in the refrigerator. Overall, the service was very poor. I decided to leave after 10 minutes and will not be returning to this café.

I went to this restaurant for lunch 2 days ago. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. I ordered fish and chips as well as a cheeseburger, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. I am considering returning to this restaurant for another visit.

Every time I pop in to this cafe, the customer service is abysmal! Almost every time I stand and wait for at least 5 minutes before a member of staff acknowledges that there is a customer waiting. Yesterday I was waiting again when friends of...a member staff walked in. Two of the staff walked over and were talking to the people while I stood there waiting. The only reason I stayed was because it was warmer than sitting in the car while I waited for my son to finish his club! Next time I won’t bother!
