Mirchi Masala - Neath Port Talbot

Let's start with the positive ones. delivery was 30 minutes early what I thought was great for me. Probably the best quality chicken that is super tender! my partner south indian mustsrd red chilli court was stunning and so was the kashmir rice. the honey nan was discarded and die for! unfortunately there are some negative. the woofer was abit watery and without taste, the woof bhajis were crispy on the outside, but abit too soft for me on the inside. I think they should be super crispy through outside ... finally the makhani alittle was strange, not the typical makhani I am used to have the reddish color and saw more like a corma (see picture.) I will return and probably try some other dinge and recommend for the quality of the huh not many places can reproduce.

I ordered a delivery takeaway from this restaurant. After waiting for over an hour, my order finally arrived. The total cost was over £50, but there were items missing. When I called to inquire, I was told it would be another 45/60 minutes to receive the missing items. I found this unacceptable and requested for the delivery driver to return and take the food back. However, they abruptly hung up on me. I decided to drive to the restaurant with the food to get a refund. Upon arrival, the missing items were waiting for me, so I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, when I got back home, I discovered that my order was once again incomplete. When I called back, this time very frustrated, I received the same response of a 45/60 minute wait due to being busy. One of the items I ordered was king prawn masala, but when I opened it, I found that it was actually chicken masala with a burnt taste. I hope that whoever received the king prawn masala didn't have a shellfish allergy. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but the recent meals have been disappointing. This experience was the final straw for me, and I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

This takeaway will knock spots off any high end Indian that I have ever visited. The choice of unique chefs dishes would suit all levels of spice preference. If thats not enough, the portion sizes are far more generous than your usual restaurants, plus their first class service and delivery timescales just adds to overall experience which keeps you going back for more. Highly recommended!
